Look at those endearing eyes! Butterscotch is showing her sweet personality, and has developed so much confidence! Her foster mom has given her love and a safe place to recover; with those pluses, and two canine foster sisters, Butterscotch has put her past behind her, and is ready to move ahead. She must have been a snuggle bug in her previous life, because anytime a volunteer sits, she tries to climb in her lap. She's a small girl, perfect size to lay in your lap. She is getting better on the leash. She runs and plays with her foster sisters now, and is finally looking happy again. Housetraining was already mastered, and she is very mannerly inside. Running and playing? Yes, she loves it! She is free at last to run and cavort, and with her recent eye surgery (to correct the entropian in her right eye) plus a spay—she is now absolute perfection. While butterscotch has been around children, we recommend meeting prior to adoption, and we think she would probably be best with children over the age of five or six simply because she can be a little shy and reactive to new people and things. When it comes to other dogs however, she is comfortable and has wonderful social skills with him. We love our sweet girl!
