Original post: Avoca, found nine days ago at Avoca Museum, is thriving in his foster home, where a nursing mother cat welcomed him as one of her own. His near-death experience affected the humans involved in trying to keep him alive more than the kitten, it appears! we need successes like this to keep us going. Thank you to his new foster family for giving him a chance. - - -

AVOCA: six week old male found at Avoca Museum in Altavista. Dehydrated, near death when found. But he is such a survivor, and he wanted to live! He found a feline foster mommy with other kittens his age, and she has taken him in as one of her own. He is a happy little man now! We look forward to watching him grow.
