Beagle / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
Dodger was brought to the shelter ten days ago, after being rescued from the streets of Rustburg where he had survived for months on his own. He is one of the best fed stray dogs ever, as he had many people feeding him, attempting to make friends with him, and trying to save him from the same fate as his companion from last spring who was hit by a car. We are thrilled that he is in our care, and he is truly appreciative of the attention he is getting. He has trained himself to potty outside only now, and he looks forward to the attention he’s getting from volunteers and the employees at the shelter. He is beagle sized, about a year old, and would really love to have a home with a fenced yard. For his safety we think that would be best since he is still learning that confinement is a requisite to be a pet. He loves other dogs, and is great with humans. Are you looking for a sweet 30 pound companion? Look no further! Reply to Adopt: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
