Hound (medium coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Quick update: Corpus Christi, aka Christi: She has learned to go in and out for a potty time, is eating well, and is responding beautifully to her foster family's love and care! Doesn’t she look great? - - - Skinny-minny Corpus Christi is still pale and weak, but slowly becoming more active and with an increased willingness to eat. She appears to be anemic, although a blood test would be needed to confirm. We would need a blood test to confirm, but would treat her the same even if the bloodwork proved she needs added iron supplement, deworming, and continued antibiotics. Yesterday she went for a walk with one of the volunteers, slowly and not very far, but we are still proud of her for making the walk. We look forward to continued health improvement. This is a project for someone willing to foster her and give her plenty of time to fatten up and look better. Are you interested? Must be local to our area; other pets must be sterilized and current a/ rabies vaccine. To Foster, apply here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. - - - Corpus Christi, emaciated hound, was picked up on Texas Drive. She is feverish, has a skin infection, and is weak with swollen joints. We have already begun medicating her, and feeding small amounts of food to help her recovery.
