Update, following Kane’s extended overnight visit with a friend: “Kane has been a good dog since he’s been with me. No accidents, no barking or jumping on people. He hasn’t tried to steal peoples food or even beg for it. He’s calm and mild mannered. He loves to follow me around, sit with me like he’s a lap dog and sleep in my bed.”

Kane is a handsome boy, neutered, housetrained, and super-friendly with humans. He has been exposed to other dogs, and we are told he most likely will be fine with them as long as they are not "in his face." We don't know about his cat experience, but are told he is wonderful with toddlers through adolescents. He is a happy boy, though he does have some food allergies which can cause itchiness, so he is on a limited-ingredient diet, and it seems to be controlled well that way. He's not hard to walk, though he does like to pull on a leash. We love watching him in the play yard, because he runs and hops like a silly baby goat might do on a warm spring day! Because he has a rude play style, not all dogs will appreciate this so we are suggesting he be the only dog in the home. We know he is wishing for a home more quickly than not! Maybe yours will be just the right fit for him!
