UPDATE: Elmer’s bloodwork is much better. he can be neutered in a couple weeks. Loves other dogs, cats, and thinks it is great stuff when he is part of a pack

Update: Elmer is feeling much better after a week of treatment for tick disease. Elmer is a senior beagle who loves other dogs and people. He is currently in a foster home and is enjoying being part of a pack. He is housetrained and heartworm negative. Elmer is very friendly and greets humans with a sweet smile. Elmer‘s senior blood panel had some levels that were of concern, primarily liver values. We are going to continue his treatment for tick disease for another few days, and then we will recheck his blood levels and see how things are looking. We will hold off on neutering Elmer until we know more. He is such a nice boy!
