Shepherd / Siberian Husky / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large Learn more about the Siberian Husky.
Ruger’s family feels he would benefit from a home where someone has the time to give him for more exercise, attention, and training. “He has nonstop energy and we have two older dogs and now a newborn, and don’t have the time to exercise him properly. He also would greatly benefit from a fenced in yard where he could run, and we don’t have one.” Like many good shepherd mixes, Ruger loves the new baby, and is protective over her when the other dogs are near. Commands and tricks he knows include sit, lay down, bed, shake, go on, speak. He can catch treats midair. Mom says, “Fetch works for about a throw or two then he runs off with the ball. He is very excitable when strangers come. He is friendly but works himself up so much that he will give them no space and sometimes jumps.” More about Ruger: courtesy postGood with Dogs, Good with Kids, Requires a yard, Leashtrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Eager To Please, Even-tempered, Goofy
