German Shorthaired Pointer / Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium Learn more about the German Shorthaired Pointer. Learn more about the Beagle.
Found by a resident and scooped up from her hiding place near railroad tracks, Desi is now at the shelter. She was treated to two weeks of care in a home where she did well with the other dogs, but because of her lack of confidence, her rescuer worried (with good reason!) about her propensity for escaping. She appears to be about four years old, 34 pounds, and is painfully timid. A fenced yard would be perfect for her. She is current with vaccines, heartworm tested, and spayed and microchipped.
