Charlie was found wandering on a country road by a county resident. He is a tiny little thing, and is being fostered near Rustburg. At five pounds, he is still a puppy. Charlie loves playing with the other dogs in the foster home, and is filled with puppy energy! He is nowhere near housetrained, and will need gentle reminders to potty outside as he grows older and can remember about such things. He is also learning about crate training from his patient foster mom. Because he is vulnerable to being stepped on, and darting out an opened door, as well as tending to be squirmy and wiggly when held, we are looking for families with children over the age of 8 who are knowledgeable about handling small breeds. Oh, a fenced yard with a physical boundary (no underground fencing allowed!) would be so wonderful! Cats are fine, but other dogs are even better, Charlie says!
