UPDATE: Princess—three years old, a dachshund mix with an attitude! Princess prefers women to men, and may need time to warm up to you. Princess is beautifully house trained, and enjoys going for walks with her best friends. - - - Princess made friends with the dog walkers on Sunday, and was happy she could get outside and check out smells. She appears to be a dachshund mix, according to her previous owner. We know that she does have a Grade Three heart murmur, but it did not prevent her from her from having spay surgery on September 23. However, she tested positive for a tick borne disease, and will need to be medicated and monitored as she recovers from that infection. Princess is a sweetheart with the right family, but apparently was allowed to run loose in her previous life, and was known for terrorizing the mail man during attempts at delivery, so needs limits and needs training. She does know "sit" and she likes to dance for her dinner! Is she one that you might love to take home? Fenced yard would be awesome for her!
