Her eyes are fully dilated, and Lucy was very vocal yesterday, but despite her wild-eyed appearance, she really wanted love and attention. Lucy would love to be an outdoor cat. As much as she would love to be indoors, she was not amenable to using the litter box when she was adopted several months ago, and we admire and respect her adopter for doing everything she possibly could to encourage Lucy to use the litter box. She tried every kind of litter, boxes all over the house, and yet Lucy insisted on pottying outside the litter box. We really don’t want to subject anyone else to that kind of issue so have offered Lucy the option of being an outdoor cat where it won’t matter if she hits the litter box or not. Lucy a spade, a couple years old, and is even micro chipped. She is current with her vaccines. She doesn’t mind being brushed on occasion, and is a really very elegant-looking girl, but one with potty issues. To adopt, even if it is as a barn cat, we ask you to fill out an application found on our website: friendsofcampbellcounty.org. We have several cats in need of outdoor homes and will post them shortly.
