From his foster mom: Matthew is a sweet older gent. The vet guesses that he is a distinguished ten years old. I have been his foster mom for a couple months now. He is energetic for his age. Very affectionate and loving. No health issues (he's recently been neutered, and also treated to a full dentistry!) He's not on any meds.

He is not potty trained, however. We really feel he would love ot have a fenced in yard! He loves to go on walks. When he's in the house, I usually have a belly wrap on him to prevent him from marking. He can go two to three hours before needing to go potty.

He likes his stuffed toys and carries them around in his mouth. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He can be a little intrusive though, all up in their face. I guess he's just excited about meeting them.

He voluntarily goes in his crate when I leave for work, but I don't close the door. He barks nonstop if you close the door on his crate. He is deaf, but he looks at you for guidance. He's really good walking on a leash. He sleeps in my bed at night. He's very cuddly and very needy. Follows you all around the house all day. He would love a stay-at-home person to hang out with!
