UPDATE: We had lots of fun assessing dogs at the shelter today. We did discover that Mr. Mumbo is not "into" other dogs. He is so focused on humans that although he accepted nice dogs into his area, he is just not into playing with them, focusing instead on the humans around him. If you hope for a friend or playmate for another dog in your household, this is not the dog for you. However, if you are looking for active devoted companion for yourself, Mumbo would be a good option. ************************** This cutie pie is MUMBO! He is an Am Staf, short and stout, one year old, said to be good with children! He is a love to all the volunteers! We have not tried him with other dogs, but feel he would be fine if he was given the right opportunity. He is not neutered so that is something that will need to be done before he leaves our care. We are told he is housetrained, and he has the most goofy screech of any dog we have ever heard! At 50 pounds he is a nice size, not overweight and not too thin. He is fun to walk and we really are enjoying getting to know him. His massive head will give you enough love and smoochies to carry you through many nights!
