CROCKETT, one year old, 13 pound emaciated beagle, was found on Hat Creek Road earlier this week. We took him directly to a vet office where we found he was severely anemic, loaded with worms as well as ticks, and suffering from demodectic noncontagious mange, most likely from malnutrition. Whew! He’s eating well in his foster hime, where tiny needy beagles are dearly loved. Watch his progress as his health improves!
