Audrey was a “stray” found in Brookneal, and although the caller told us she was starving, it is obvious that she has not missed any meals and was roaming around visiting all her friends about town. There is no confinement requirement in the town of Brookneal. Many dogs have regular routes and visit their friends. Audrey was wearing a collar but no ID was attached to it. We think it be pretty awesome if she could be reclaimed if people share this post frequently and widely. She is keeping her kennel run spotlessly clean, and is easy to walk on a leash. We are estimating her age at around two or three years. She is a long legged beauty, and weighs 74 pounds. She has been fine with the other dogs she has met at the shelter, and as a very happy looking girl. Most likely she is a lab-hound mix.
