Seven to eight month old Talos loves hanging out with the teenager in his foster home, and has had lots of fun playing with the resident dogs there as well. He is a big boy, 70 pounds already, and will perhaps continue growing a bit more. He is housetrained, neutered, current with vaccines, and is microchipped. Although he looks like a fuzzy farm dog, he is not good with smaller quick-moving animals, so will do best in an environment where chickens and outdoor cats are not tempting him to chase them. Talos loves humans! He “gives a paw” and sits nicely waiting for attention and treats. A fenced yard is required for him, and we will not consider homes where invisible fencing is considered, due to his high prey drive. Talos will find it worth his while to run right through it, and our goal is to keep not only Talos safe, but to keep other pets or wild animals safe as well.  To apply to adopt (from his foster family, since he is not at the shelter) go here:  friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.
