Pepito is looking for a quiet home with older folks who enjoy being home bodies. If you are considering a small lap pet, please understand that we are watching out for him and his needs. He is a senior with a heart murmur, and love to give. His best placement is a quiet home where no one will feel the need to grab him up and squeeze and love him. A home with no small children, even occasionally visiting, is what we are seeking.  A home where a lap is available, and there are no expectations for regular walking or exercise, other than a trip to the backyard for pottying. He would benefit from a small fenced yard, but we won't require it. We have found that he is fine with other dogs, and accepts the cats in the foster home. He doesn't love being handled, and occasionally yelps or screams when he is picked up or handled. The exam he had by a vet this week was non-conclusive, but it may be that he is achey in various places just like an old person would be.
