Lol has been in foster care for two months, learning to be social and to enjoy human handling. He was on the borderline of being feral when he arrived in care at the shelter, and the only way to continue socializing him for adoption is to spend time with him daily, earning his trust, and teaching him that humans are OK. While Lol is probably never going to be an affectionate cat, he appreciates care and yummy food. We will continue working with Lol, but hope that someone will see his potential as a porch cat or perhaps even a barn cat who would not mind being cared for without expecting lots of attention.
