Cookie is hanging out in a foster home with cats and other dogs while she learns good manners and appropriate skills when it comes to meeting new people. We would describe her personality as “cautious” when it comes to meeting new people. She appears to be a Great Pyrenees mix, on the smaller side. Cookie has done well when she has been taken to a groomer, although she lets the groomer know when she has had enough of the mat cutting. She did arrive in care in rather deplorable condition, and our friends at Harmony Rescue worked hard to clean her up even before we took her in. Even though she is not fond of the large breed male adult dog in her foster home, Cookie adores the puppies that come to visit. She can be very selective in her canine companions and can be extremely bossy, so we are hoping and looking for a home where she can be enjoyed and loved as maybe an only dog. She also is enamored with babies and young children! What an amazing dog for just the right family! She would love a fenced yard, and a settled family that is not changing frequently with lots of visitors.
