APACHE is patiently waiting until his hold time is up on September 10 so he can get to a vet and have an assessment on his hips and find out why he often “bunny hops” and shows sensitivity in his back quarters. He has some pretty heavy duty matting, too, and will be treated to a bath and brushout as quickly as he can be scheduled! He appears to be about one year old, he's very vocal, and is very high energy! Because we do not know the extent of his medical needs at this time, it is difficult for us to recommend placement with an extremely active family. We’re hoping that will be the end result however. He is certainly not suffering for attention at the shelter as everyone seems to love a fluffy husky who spends time “woo-wooing” his woes.
