When Tate was brought to the shelter, his person told us that he has a snuggle bug but not really cuddly. He has proven that both at the shelter and in his time at Petsmart in the adoption center. He is gentle, loves being brushed and cared for, and will even roll over for belly rubs if he is inclined. His long coat means that you will need to spend time brushing and keeping him free from mats. The good news is that he really enjoys being groomed. Tate was brought in with two other cats and we were told he does fine with other felines but is very skittish and frightened around dogs. We believe he was exposed to children and his previous home but we don’t know if they were allowed to interact with him or not.Tate and two other cats from the same household we brought to the shelter because the grandchildren have allergies to cats. We were so sorry that their home life had to be disrupted and was not able to be managed. It doesn’t seem to matter to Tate! He is outgoing and loves everyone he meets in his time at Petsmart. He is current with vaccines, and we retested just to make sure he was FELVFIV negative. He is a sweetheart
