UPDATE: Finally! Basir (pronounce it Buh-seer, with the accent on the second syllable) is ready for adoption! He told us he wants cuddles more than anything else, because, as his foster mom noted, he is truly a teddy bear disguised as a cat. He’s about six years old, just had a dentistry and neuter, and is ready to share his life with you! - - -

Basir is the most handsome boy in the world! Or at least, we think he is, and he's likely to agree with us, because he is one very happy, agreeable cat! He arrived in our care at the shelter after he and two feline friends were abandoned when their family moved away. Basir and his friends are all well-socialized and very friendly with other cats and humans. That's pretty amazing in itself, but especially under the adverse circumstances. Because the sweetheart is missing a couple teeth, we figured he might have some dental issues. We're working to get him neutered and his teeth looked at very soon. Want to adopt?
