We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

NIPSY will be getting a new name as soon as we find one to which he responds. Nipsey is a sweet, active and not yet neutered seven-month-old poodle mix. He weighs about 32 pounds, and we are told he is house and crate trained. Because of his nappy coat, his family tells us that he needs consistent care and attention given to his coat, especially under his legs where tangles show up easily and quickly. We would consider this dog to be a high maintenance breed mix, and one whose family needs to plan to spend daily time grooming and seeing to his needs. we had lots of fun playing with him in the office before he headed straight to his foster home, and he does Puppy play bows and response beautifully and appropriately. His foster home is filled with other dogs and cats, and we look forward to hearing more about his adjustment to a family with multiple pets. We are posting him now, and you are welcome to fill out an application, but we will probably not be making a decision for a couple of weeks, as we want to find out what his ideal home will be.
