What a love this stray has shown himself to be! A laid-back chunk who is great with toddlers as well as us older folks. He loves walks on a hot day that end with a short romp and tennis-ball tosses, and he is superb about taking meds for both his badly infected ears (appears to be due to chronic yeast issues) and his tick-borne disease diagnosis (tested positive for both Lyme and erlichiosis.) Being Pollyanna types, we will have to say how GLAD we are that Stone is negative for heartworms, as we try so hard to put a positive spin on dogs who have some kind of ailment. We can also say that he is beautifully housetrained, and is well-socialized, which again is one good outcome from being free to roam in a busy neighborhood. We invite you to come and visit our Stone, aka Stonewall, aka Stonewall Jackson! He's the bomb when it comes to wonderful block-headed boys! We discovered he's an excellent traveller, too, as he was quite happy for the car ride he was given as he visited the vet office for the first time. Please give him a slobbery chance to visit!
