We love our newest fur friend! This is Sophie, and Sophie was rescued from the chaos of the Appomattox tornado aftermath three years ago. She was just a puppy and she had a badly broken leg that required surgery, but she has recovered nicely from that. Her family felt she needed to be separated from the younger female dog and asked us to find her a home. I have a relationship with this dog and don’t want anything to happen to her. She must go to the perfect new home! We are anxious to continue assessing her while we determine what that is. We do know she played very well with the large male dog at the home, and will start there with assessment. Of course, this beauty would love to be an “only,” I’m sure, and would thrive on going to family dog training classes! She is spayed and current with vet care, fifty luscious pounds, and loves humans. She is also beautifully housetrained!
