Shadow is the sweetest boy and loves attention. He would sit in your lap all day if you let him! He is housetrained and does fine with the other dogs in his foster home.

He rides good in a car and will tolerate a crate in the house, but prefers to have free range of the house and since he is housetrained, that is no issue in his foster home.

Shadow had a little bit of a cough when he came in and was originally diagnosed with bronchitis. After a week of medication his cough didn't improve and he was evaluated again and we discovered that he has a collapsing trachea (common in smaller, older dogs), a possible heart concern, and arthritis in his back. Despite all of these issues, he is a very happy, loving little guy. We want to be transparent with adopters and let you know that these issues will most likely cause him to be on medication for the rest of his life.
