Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large
Scooter is a neutered six-year-old mastiff mix. He weighs 75 pounds but doesn’t realize he’s a big dog! He came to the shelter from a family but we don’t really know why. What we do know is that he is excellent with other dogs of all sizes, and good with small furry animals—cats and bunnies— we are told. And he is wonderful with humans. Initially he will be a bit protective when strangers approach, but he has never tried to nip or bite, and instead retreats. He prefers a quieter household rather than one with chaotic comings and goings as it makes him nervous. He is a wonderful boy, cratetrained and housetrained. We are so happy that you have a chance to find a new home! We start with an application.
This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Please note that we do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice, and we do not adopt unaltered pets outside our local area of Campbell County or counties touching Campbell.
