Do you know anything at all about cats with extra toes? They are known as Polydactyls, and are famous because of the author, Ernest Hemingway, who loved them SO much, he wanted nothing but extra-toed cats!  We associated them with the author, but we really love the uniqueness of the extra toes or thumbs on the front paws of these cats. They have a "mitted" appearance, and are just a bit different-looking. They don't have more problems, or less, but just a varied appearance. Of course, when you are as gentle and  sweet-natured as Trotter anyway, the oddity of extra toes is just another special reason someone should want to take you home! Trotter is ready! He's thinking Christmas would be the ideal time to make a move to a new home!
