ANNIE is a three year old 25-pound princess surrendered to the already-full shelter last week, where she struggled to understand the changes in her life. Sometimes, dogs need a fast and complete reprieve from the shelter, and that was the case with ANNIE. At her foster home, she is enjoying downtime, getting to know the resident dogs, the schedule, and the behavioral expectations. Her coat is silky-soft and we wonder if she is a Tibetan Spaniel mix? She is beautifully housetrained, and enjoys hanging out on the sofa with her foster mom when there is time to relax. We’re trying to teach her how to play with toys, and her agility is amazing! She is super good with all the other dogs in the household, although her meet and greet skills with humans are not so polished. We’re hoping to find her a home with adults only, with or without other dogs, and in a household where there are not lots of people coming and going. She indoors treats, and take them gently from the humans hands. She doesa lovely sit on command now, and we feel she will probably pick up other cute tricks quite easily.
