Not only is Nestle handsome—he has a brain and he knows how to use it! He demonstrated his focus and problem-solving abilities by working for four minutes to find treats hidden in a puzzle! He is spot-on with positive-reinforcement dog training, as well. And, he wants so hard to please humans, but has not had an opportunity to do much of that. He needs a human of his own and we hope that might be your family. He learned some basic training in a matter of minutes, and learned to be happy in a crate at his temporary short-term adoptive home. He needs someone very special!

Handsome NESTLE, four years old, neutered, and definitely looking happy and healthy, came back to the shelter after a short trial adoption period. We are devastated for him that it wasn’t the perfect match, and will continue trying! It takes at least two weeks (and many times longer) for a dog to adapt and adjust to be what his family wants to be. We are grateful to Nestle’s person for trying.
