This is Oreo who is a 10-month-old mixed breed and is currently still in the care of his family. Oreo's mother is a 15 pound terrier mix. We don’t know what his father may have been other than cute! Oreo is 28 pounds and will not get any larger. He has been living with his mom and sibling in the same home since birth. Oreo decided it was time to set out on his own and have his own adventures without being accompanied by any family members. He is excellent with children, having lived with a preschooler and an elementary aged child. He hasn’t been out and about to experience lots of new events, so a very patient family willing to give him time to adapt is exactly what he needs. Oreo is house trained, and is crate trained, but he prefers not being in his crate if he can help it. His family has done a superior job of teaching him hand signals as well as voice commands. Their household is fairly quiet and calm and we think a home similar to that would be ideal for this boy. He is neutered, current with rabies vaccine and distemper vaccines, and is available for adoption immediately.
