Tortoiseshell / Mixed (long coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Small
Marina has had a few mood changes. When she came in she was said to be feral. That didn't stop a volunteer from deciding to take here and her day old kittens home. For the first three weeks or so Marina surprised her foster family by being as sweet as could be. They could pet her and brush her. She didn't mind them handling her kittens. Once the babies were mobile, that all changed. She became hissy and would lash out. She wouldn't stop them from them from messing with the babies but if given the chance she would sit on them or wrap them up to avoid human contact with them. The kittens are almost 8 weeks old are are ready to move out on their own and Marina is having no part of that. We will have he spayed and give her time to decompress, but for now it seems like the best placement for her might be as a barn cat or with someone that has experience with grumpy cats.
