This handsome boy is DUKE, one year old, and signed over to the shelter.  This boy is 62 pounds, and a live-wire! Love humans; hates being in a kennel run! He is big and goofy and needs to learn some manners but he is intelligent and will learn quickly. His greatest joy is to be squirted with water, though he has absolutely no interest in diving into a wading pool or running through a sprinkler, like so many silly "doggy kids" like to do! We found out that he adores children, and shows that love by giving them oodles of face-cleaning time, using that ever-ready long slurpy tongue!  And he has found his absolute favorite toy in the whole world: it's a pink, "spiky" squeaky ball that he discovered in the play yard one day, and he is just fixated with it when he is out there! A couple times we've invited him to take it back to his kennel run so he can play with it inside, but he prefers only tackling the squeakiness outdoors. Dogs can sure be funny! If you'd like to meet this boy, please run, don't walk, to the shelter and cast your eyes upon his handsomeness. Apply online to adopt: friends ofcampbellcounty.org.
