Puppies Jilly (female, white face) and Zeus (male, black face) have made wonderful progress since arriving at the shelter. This is due to all the attention they have received from our volunteers this weekend. Volunteers truly do save lives! For puppies who are not socialized with strangers, being touched and adored and stroked and carried and loved by complete strangers is the best thing they need to gain confidence and understand trust in humans. These puppies were never abused, which is the first question people ask when a dog is shy and timid. They were just not exposed to many new things as puppies and are still not sure how to react now. We love seeing progress like this! The puppies are available for adoption once you have filled out an application and we have spoken to your references.
