Meet Lucy! Lucy is spayed, six years old, and needs a home due to her human’s declining health. She is super friendly, great with children, and will ignore cats. Depending on the household, she may be bossy to other dogs. We have listed LUCY as "special needs" because she needs someone who is committed to helping her with a weight-loss program. This little one should weigh half what she is packing now, and will need continued guidance from a veterinarian and a devoted, tough-love approach to weight loss. She is wonderfully healthy other than carrying around too much body fat. Her heart is fine and her heartworm test was normal. Lucy loves attention and she is fine with cats as well as other dogs.
