Buster: this awesome six year old houndis very social with humans. If you have little ones, and  need a dog tolerant and sweet even when they might be a little grumpy and fussy, Buster would be the tolerant kind "uncle" in the family, who would be able to tolerate their crying without getting upset. We know dogs are not always good about being hugged by strangers, but Buster would also be tolerant of that if the child was not going to squeeze his guts out while doing it.  He gets along with other dogs, and around female dogs becomes a puppy again! We found out he is excellent with children of all ages. For a large fella, he's super gentle around them and doesn't jump. He is a bit of a couch potato yet loves to play with his giggle ball when he gets the chance. He would make a great family dog.
