Raine is a mixed breed puppy who was abandoned behind our shelter early one morning. We have no background on information at all, and she has been in a foster home for several weeks now. Rain is an extremely shy, sensitive puppy, who has no confidence at all. She loves the foster family where she lives, but she is still extremely shy and nervous about being touched. She hides her head when something new happens in her life. Because of this, even though she is listed as a cattle dog mix, she’s going to require a very special placement. We are considering only families local to Campbell county Virginia, or counties touching Campbell County. We are also considering only experienced families, older children, and experienced dog owners who have other dogs in the home.

Only adopters who live in Campbell County or a county touching Campbell County, and whose other pets are Spay/neutered and current with rabies will be considered. Adoption fee of $250 includes vaccines, a wellness exam, sterilization, and microchip! Raine is NOT at the shelter. Please do not call there to ask about her.
