Cherry arrived in our care as a scared to death stray, found cowering in a field near the highway. She has been learning to be part of a family, but every new sound and sight and smell is new to her and it's not easy adapting to these things when you have been kept in a kennel with other dogs all your life! Cherry has been spayed and her cherry eyes have been repaired, and she is enjoying life a bit more now that she has no concerns about making babies, and can see more easily.  She is still scared of new things, and if she ever got away, she'd probably be difficult to coax back, so we are hoping for a new home with a fenced yard for this little one! Cherry doesn’t even go outside, she uses puppy pads. She sometimes misses. I think she would go outside in a fenced yard, but we haven’t been successful with a leash.  She is about 90% crate trained. She is in a foster home, and not at the shelter. Please do not call the shelter for information. Go directly to the application for fastest reponse.
