Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Large Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, helping dogs get along in the same home doesn't always work. 2-1/2 year-old Elsa came to us because she did not get along well with the older dog in the household. Her dominant personality was more than the other dog could handle. She would probably be fine if she could live with a submissive dog who didn't mind someone else being in charge. It's really hard to have two females with the same pushy personality living together, however! Elsa is spayed; she appears to be house trained, and she is current with a rabies vaccine. She will be a perfect only dog! She loves children and does well in a household with lots of attention given to her. Does Elsa sound like a good match for your family? She is about 45 pounds, and is very well groomed. She's very gentle from all we can see.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
