Morgan has become a true doll-baby in every sense of the word! She adores being carried around like a baby and has become very social with other dogs her own size. And as far as cats, well, cats are just another sweet piece of furniture to be lived with and not to be bothered with, nor will they bother her! She is pretty good about hanging out on the couch or on a dog bed during quiet times at home, and is eager and willing to go outside for potty time, too. She does have to be reminded to do this, and we are still not perfect with housetraining, but when you are only 15 pounds, and this cute, you can probably get away with it. On occasion, she has been protective over her food around other dogs, but that is changing more and more to just accepting other dogs in her presence. We've discovered she is quite fond of large black male dogs, and is on her best behavior when she is in their company! As her foster mom has observed some interesting behavior, here is what we think will be the best fit for her as far as a family: no small children, because she is often underfoot, and we don't want her tripping up any toddlers, so really, kids over nine would be best. And for that reason, because we don't want any older folks taking a tumble, if you are unsteady on your feet, you could easily go for a nosedive if she decided she wants to be your footwarmer as you walk across the floor, so be of sound mind and steady body, please! She has discovered toys, after an incredibly sad start to her life. She was found tied with a cable to a tree, and stuck inside a crate outside, so if she has issues with crating, we know why and we beg you to excuse her and give her a chance to figure out that life isn't as bad everywhere as it was for her in the past. Have we piqued your interest? Do you want to help Morgan continue making progress with socialization and transitioning to being that perfect little dog you've dreamed of?
