About Luna - Not at the Shelter

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Cream (Mostly)
  • Color: Tortie
  • Current Age: 5 Years 3 Months (best estimate)
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Luna would like to be queen of her domain. She is happiest when she can get your full attention and you be at her beck and call. Her true personality will shine if she is in a home that is gentle and not too demanding.

She will lay in your lap, lay at the foot of your bed, curl up in her fluffy round bed and walk on you in the mornings to see if you are awake for feeding, but she isn't fond of being picked up and held, assuming because of her larger frame.

She would do best being the only CAT in the household, but would be fine if you have a cat that is extremely laid back. This is being requested due to the fact, she is constantly bullied by the other cats in the home.

She has been raised around dogs and does well with them as long as they are respectful.

She is very faithful to a clean litterbox.

Himalayan cats do best as indoor-only cats. Himalayans are not fighters by nature. They would not do well, defensively, against typical outdoor animals.

**She is currently on presciption dry food, due to having sensitive digestion issues.

Her adoption fee is $100.00

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.  Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
