Chevy! An English bulldog mix! Who would think you could get a handsome boy without a squished face who is still big and burly without the respiratory problems? So handsome! Twenty months old, housetrained, and neutered. He has learned to "sit" and is happy to earn treats for good behavior. He is in a foster home where he plays rough and tough with the other dogs there. He is comfortable in a crate and finds security there. He has learned doggy social skills from his canine foster siblings and we are amazed at how well he handled being at our recent Sams Club Meet and Greet event. He much prefers humans to canine company, and would be wonderful as an only dog, as he doesn't care for other dogs up in his face. Because he is lively and excited around his chosen humans, we think placement with older children would be wise--teenagers who are active and willing to spend time playing with him would be perfect! He does not like to be forcibly pushed or grabbed by his collar to go into his crate, so we are using treats to help him learn this.
