We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Sam is a mixed breed puppy;  he is currently hanging out in a foster home with the Red House Road puppies, where he fits right into the pack. It's important for puppies to be raised with other puppies until they are 8 to 9 weeks old. They have a chance to learn good social skills and to become a more socialized puppy with humans as well. Sam will be available when he is 9 weeks old (approximately October 1st).  Please go ahead and submit an application for preapproval if you are interested.  An application can be found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
