Beagle / Jack Russell Terrier (Parson Russell Terrier) / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Small
DROOPY is a young baby, found as a stray. We think he may be a nice little mix of Jack Russell and beagle, as he is energetic yet loving. There is nothing cuddly in this little man, unless you grab a quick hug and kiss as he is passing by! He loves rolling around, playing rough, biting and chewing with other puppies, and he is ever so happy with a friend that is also a canine. He is fine with cats, and with both large dogs and small. He is learning all about crate training but has a long way to go to be housetrained. He likes to run under feet and trip you up, so is not recommended for older folks nor for homes with preschoolers. Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption. Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org More about Droopy-fosteredGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Does not require a yard, Likes to play with toys, Apartment OK, Playful, Intelligent, Even-tempered
