We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

This naked baby is SWEETPEA. At twelve weeks old, she is suffering from a severe case of demodectic mange. The good news is, it's not contagious. She appears to be a "pibble," (our term of endearment for the pit bulls in our lives.).  She weighs only 11 pounds and eats like a champion. We are guessing this little "project" will need two to three months to fully recover her coat and be considered healthy.  We will update as she progresses.

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.  Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
